StickWars... One thing people may notice about this game is that it's more of a workout excercise for your hand and arm then an actual game. No, really though, all jokes aside this game is one tiring game. Other then all the workout and tiredness that it gives the player, this game is actually pretty fun. Basically you must protect your castle from taking damage and being destroyed by the swarm of stick people that are running towards it and attacking it. You must swing your finger from left to right grabbing the stick people and throwing them in the air killing them. It may sound easy but it really isn't because of the fact that later on after a few levels you have a huge army of stick people running towards your castle. The good thing about this game though is that its not as simple as that. After each level you may upgrade your castles health and also heal it to full health again, and get defence and whatnot. You think that that's not that great and you want more? Well, there is more...Lots more. This app has some great features because you also gain rewards for each level you pass. You gain money that is. Then, after each level you may buy certain upgrades to protect your castle. Things such as: cages to trap enemies inside, shaking the iPhone to deploy bombers to detonate and destroy a whole bunch of enemies, and also things like magic wizards to shoot fireballs, and etc. So much good things about this game and good features that make it really interesting. There's even a global online high score ranking system so you'll want to keep playing until you get your name up on there. The bad thing about the game though, that really sucks, is that once the enemies get to destroy your castle it's all over for you. You could of been playing for 50 levels and put so much hard work into it but once it's over, well...it's over. You must start all the way from the beginning, so that kind of loses some of the fun of the game. Regardless though it's a pretty addicting game and the artwork and graphics and presentation of it all is all pretty attracting and good. At the price of just a dollar this game is really amazing and if you like to play games on your iPhone, you should deffinetly give this game a shot. With all the workout your hand and arm get from it, who knows, you could even end up with bigger biceps.

The Moron Test App Review

The Moron Test is one simple, yet frustrating application. It's a test, like any other test, but this one seems to make people look like total idiots. This is basically a game that tests the player on their patience and instruction-following skills. You are required to do what the instructions say. It's as simple as that, yet most of the people who try this game will most likely fail and not complete it on their first try. The game is so simple that tasks sometimes include things such as: "Touch the red button" or "Touch the biggest duck", yet people have trouble doing so. Sometimes it might get a bit more complicated and might have you complete a task such as "Touch the green button, then the red twice, then the blue button", but really, is that really that complicated? Well, apperantly it is, and that's what makes this game fun. It's simple yet fun, but sometimes can get frustrating though. The art and drawings and the graphic presentation is also very well done, it really brings out what the game is all about and goes with its theme. Music and sound also go along great and make the game that much better. The downside of this app is that once you fail you are forced to start all over from the first task and do everything all over. Once you hit a certain level and are far into the game there's a checkpoint and you continue from there but if you haven't reached that checkpoint you must start all over and sometimes that can get really annoying. The reason being is also because the game does not change its levels and tasks around so if you got to level 10 and failed, you must start all over and you basically have to do exactly what you did before to reach the level again, so in other words it's very repetative and can get boring at times. Once the game is beaten though, that's it, there's no other stuff to do, and you might be left wanting your money back. It's great watching your friends try and fail though, it's very humorous and fun. Overall it's basically one of those games that are fun for a few minutes than once it's beaten you might find yourself deleting it.

Snake Galaxy App Review

Hey everyone, this time Ill be reviewing the game Snake Galaxy. Many of you might probably not know about it as its one of those good games that arent noticed but I came across it and now i must say, its a really good game. Basically its the game "Snake" but in a whole new idea or concept. Its 3-D. Now thats a pretty cool idea. Theres many different levels, the graphics are awsome, and gameplay is just fun. The levels are pretty good too. The only bad thing about this game is that a bit farther into the game it starts getting really hard to get the high score but so what? Thats the challange. You can trigger combos once you start growing for faster points but you must watch out at the same time. You cant hit your own trail, or any obstacles that are on the planet (level). Also the animation and presentation of some of the features are great, like for example when you see your high score the way its presented is amazing. Overall this game is great and Id give it a good 4/5. A few more levels wouldn't hurt but maybe we will see that in future updates. For now, in conclusion this game is pretty amazing and also addicting. Good job to the devs.

mBox Mail App Review

The mBox Mail app is an application for the iPhone (iPod Touch as well but this site is strictly for iPhone though) that enables you to view your Hotmail account and all your emails and such things on it. That basicly all sumarizes what this app does but it's a really useful application for those who need to constantly check their Hotmail E-mails. Since the iPhone Mail app doesnt allow you to check your Hotmail e-mails, this app is amazing for saving people like me who check their Hotmail accounts every second. You can do practically anything that you can on the normal Hotmail website. Check your folders, your Sent messages, Drafts, and Inbox. You can create and send e-mail as well. You can also reply to e-mails. The other great thing about this application is that you can have multiple Hotmail accounts and check them at once and keep them together and easily check them. This application is simple, but is a very useful app and anyone who uses Hotmail and checks it on the daily, this app is a must have. The only problem with this app is that sometimes, not too often but it does happen, the app might get disconnected from its server and not be able to refresh or check for new emails and data, but that does not happen too often. Overall this app is amazing for what it does and is really useful.

Spore Origins App Review

Spore Origins is a game all about evolution of a cell. You start off as the most primitive cell that there is, and as you go through levels your cell becomes more evolved and "upgraded". You control your cell by the iPhones built in accelerometer, which might not be that great to some people because it's the only control option available and sometimes is kind of annoying, but nevertheless, you move around eating other smaller cells, while staying away from the bigger cells that hurt you. As you proceed throughout levels, you may customize your cell however you want with different patterns and designs and colours, even put a design from your photo album. After a while of playing you also gain power-ups and added stuff to your cell, like for example horns and fins and etc, to gain more power and speed and such things. After playing throughout many levels you can upgrade your cell to look however you want it to because theres alot of different options to customize your creature, and thats pretty cool about this game.The great thing about this game is the graphics. The background of the level is very well designed and good detail. If your in the muddy level for example, it really feels as if your in that level because of the background and the look and feel of the level. All in all, this game is pretty cool and well worth a shot at playing, and the most important thing, its pretty fun. A pretty good overall game, tumbs up to EA for this.

Bowman App Review

This game is simple but fun. Im sure most of you know what Bowman is, and played it sometime in your life, and this game is exactly that but for the iPhone. If you dont know what it is, scroll down and look at the screenshot for a general idea, but anyways, basically youre a stick person that shoots bows. Theres a few different modes, but this game has one big negative thing to it, theres no multiplayer between two iPhones. Theres the vs. Computer mode, the vs. Human mode, where you face your friend, but on the same iPhone, and the Bird Hunting mode, where you must shoot birds that come along the screen. You shoot by touching the screen and pulling back then releasing. After a while you`ll get the hang of it and start using the degrees and power of the shot properly. Like I said this game is very simple, so theres not much to it. Its fun for a few minutes, to some might even be addicting. Cartoony graphics are pretty good too. Its an alright app i guess, but it does lack a few things that would make it better, one being multiplayer versus other iPhones. All in all, its an okay app.

Need For Speed Undercover App Review

Alright, so I've been waiting ever since the game for PS3/Xbox360 came out for this game to come out for iPhone. But it didnt, and I got sad and thought it wouldn't end up coming out but I randomly checked and was surprised to see the title. I got the game right away and started playing as soon as i installed it. All I have to say is that... DAMN, the wait paid off. This game is amazing and one of the best racing games in the store. Its deffinetly one of the best all time games in the whole App Store. The game starts off by having to wait for a loading screen but thats alright, the time you must wait is not that long compared to how much stuff it has to load. Then you get brought into the main menu, and your car is displayed there too. Now before anything, there IS a story to the game and the part I found pretty good was that it was all acted out by real life characters and the story is played by video or cutscenes if you'd like to call it that. Unfortunately, theres no free roam but thats okay, the games still great. The selection of cars is great in this game, considering its for the iPhone, theres many great cars such as Nissan GT-R, Dodge Viper, Pagani Zonda, Lamborghini Gallardo, Porche 911 GT and etc. The events are pretty good too, like for example, the classic "Circuit", Sprint, Knockout Lap and so on. Theres also, Cop Takeout where you must take out the cops cars and also many other events as well. Theres three areas to the big map of the city and in each part you must complete events. The other great part is that you can customize your cars Preformance and as well as Visuals. Visual upgrades arent that great but still, they make the game even better. The only way to control your car in this game is by accelerometer, but even to people who don't like accelerometer based games, you will because its not hard whatsoever and is very fun. Once finishing the career mode, a Drift Mode is unlocked to continue to gain money and play. Overall this game is great, but the only things holding it back from a perfect 5/5 is that sometimes the game will lag, making it really not fun, there's no free roam, but I dont blame it because after all it is an iPhone game, and the career mode isnt really that long. And to prove it, I beat the whole game in about an hour or so only with a Mazda 3, and a Dodge Viper for the last few races. But still it's a very fun game, but I suggest waiting for a price drop if you don't like spending money on the apps.

Doodle Jump

To start off this review im going to say that this game is highly addictive. Thats the main reason it gets a 4/5. Once i started to play this game i just couldnt stop. I always wanted to play it again and again and go for a higher score. Its very simple yet so great. You're basically this little guy constantly going upwards jumping on platforms, and you must keep staying on the platforms and if you miss one you fall down and lose the game. Your direction is controlled by tilting the iPhone left to right using its accelorometer. The game is fast paces and you need to know where you are going to go before you're there. It starts off easy, then gets challenging as you go more upwards, monsters start blocking off your way, then other obstacles appear once you get more and more higher, like UFO's and holes in the level. The good thing though is that you can tap the screen to "shoot" and this way you can knock down the monsters but its kind of hard to aim, shoot, and balance the iPhone at the same time going up. Also, platforms start decreasing so you dont have that many options to make, sometimes you must make it to one platforms quick because its the only platform you can reach. This game, like I said, is very addicting, and its very, very fun to play. Theres also a global leaderboard for you to match your scores againts the best, and try to get your name up on that leaderboard. This game is so simple yet so fun, and I highly recommend it for people who like to play games that are addicting and fun.

Tower Bloxx Deluxe Edition App Review

This is a pretty amazing game. I remember I first played this game on Facebook and I completely loved it, and once i saw it for the iPhone, i just HAD to grab it and try it out, and i found out that its even better. The point of this game is to stack "floors" on top of each other for as long as you can, the higher you get, the more the building wobbles. 3 failures to place the floor properly and you lose. Sounds simple, but its not. Its pretty challenging once you get up high enough (my personal high score btw is just 149). The graphics for this game are so amazing, thats what makes this game so great. Another great feature is that the higher your building gets. the background changes, becoming from the city, to the sky, all the way to outer space. It adds some humorous and interesting effect to the game. The game is such a fun game and simple to play, you just tap on the screen to drop the "floor". This game has a few features such as the quick play mode and the mode where you build a city. Its not really "building" a city but its pretty fun still. This game is highly addictive and I really recommend it to anyone who likes to play games on their spare time. Its really fun and simple, yet so addicting. Overall, great game, it has my thumbs up.

Zombieville USA App Review

Zombieville USA; this game is basically a side-scroller. BUT, it's a rather fun side-scroller. You must get from one side till the end of the level without dying. In the beginning, zombies come to you not that hard, but after a while of playing and more into the game it gets way tougher, and zombies come to you by the packs. Your weapons in the game to defend from the zombies are pretty cool; you start off with the pistol, then you can upgrade to the shotgun, and farther into the game you can get the UZI type gun, machine gun, flame-thrower, Bazooka, and etc. The cool part is that while gaining new weapons, theres upgrades to those weapons as well, such as upgrading your UZI SMG into an AK-47 gun. This game is a really fun game, only bad thing about it is that its too repetative, theres no achievements, you dont get rewarded based upon how far you get into the game, and if you die unfortounately you must start all over again. There's no level selection or custom rules you can set. Once you die, you die. Everything must be restarted, all your weapons, ammo, everything. Other than that this game is another boredum-killer game. One of those games you just wip out and play when you're bored or have nothing to do. Its got some really good graphics as well and gameplay is fun. I give it my thumbs up.

Pocket God App Review

So, I seen this app as one of the top paid apps for a while now, but it never really seemed interesting. Well, after a while I decided to see what the big fuss was about and decided to try it out. Well, after playing this game for a pretty long time, I found out that I was right, right from the beginning; this game is not interesting at all. It is extremely boring and really not much fun at all after literally 2 minutes of playing it. In this game you have these little "people" on a small (and when i say small i really mean small) island and you can basicaly control them. You can drag them across the screen, drown them, throw them in a volcano, etc. It may sound interesting, but after a minute or two of doing the same thing over and over again, it's one of the most boring apps on the store. I really don't even know how this app got to be one of the top paid ones. I don't recomend this game to anyone as it has no lasting appeal whatsoever. If i had to decide wether to buy this app, or a $1 Hershey bar, I think I'd go with the Hershey bar. At least that will last me longer then 2 minutes.

Real Soccer 2009 App Review

Woooooooow. Another game from Gameloft that is so amazing. Honestly, Gameloft is the best developer for iPhone there is. All their games, why do you think theyre so much big in size (MB) ? Because, they are just so great. First of all, id like to just say that if there is any soccer fan that wants a soccer game for the iPhone, look no longer, here it is. This is the perfect app for you. Firstly, lets point out the alright features. This game has fast loading, great presentation, great menus, great settings, everything is great. Now lets point out the amazing stuff. Its very simple; the graphics. Who would of ever thought that the iPhone could have such amazing graphics. Well, thanks to Gameloft, we can clearly see that. This game has the graphics of a PS2 soccer game, thats how great it is. This is even better than a Nintendo DS soccer game. This game feels like your playing FIFA on a PSP not an iPhone thats how amazing it is. Theres even game modes, thats the best part, like "Cup" and "Leagues" and etc. Gameplay is also amazing. The only bad part about this game is that there is no commentary, that is why this game did not get my full 5/5 but other than the lack of commentary, this game is perfect. When I first played this game i was stunned and i can honestly say that its really amazing what theyve done with this game. Once again, good job Gameloft.

Tetris App Review

Ohhh the classic Tetris. We can never get tired of this game. No matter how old it gets, and now we can play it on the iPhone. How cool is that? Well, id say its pretty cool. EA Sports made a pretty decent job creating this game. I kind of like it. Im not in love with it but its a pretty nice app. One thing i HATE about it is the music. Wheres the classic tetris song you may ask? Well... certantly not in this game. I wish i could be listening to that old classic tune while im stacking up blocks, but unfourtunately I cant. That really sucks. Another bad thing is the loading time and the startup time it takes from when you first start up the app until your actually into a game. First you got to go through some cheesy intro, then through a long loading screen and this all just takes a loooong time. I wish you could just start the game, wait a few seconds, and start building blocks. Other than that the game is pretty alright. Theres two modes, marathon and magic mode. The game overall is another classic Tetris game so if youre a Tetris lover, youll love this game. If youre not but youre looking for a decent game to play, you might like this game for a bit, not saying youll fall in love with it, but its pretty fun and a boredum killer. The problem is that the app crashes too many times, so dont say i didnt warn you. Overall though this app has my thumbs up.

Playman Track And Field App Review

Whoever thought track and field could be so fun. I certantly didnt, but once playing this game i suddenly became interested in it. Now, i have beaten the game and collected all the "mascots". This game is a really fun game in my opinion and takes out the boringness away from you. You dont really "run" with your character or anything like that, this game is based on how fast your reactions are and how accurate. Basically two green circles pop up on the screen, one at a time, one on the left and one on the right. There is no pattern on how these circles come up though, so the object of the game is to press the circles as fast and as accurate as you can, without pressing the wrong circle, then after, based on which event your playing, you must finish it off. There are not many events though, but still nevertheless, theyre great. Theres the 110m Dash, the Long Jump, the Pole Vault, 110m Hurdles, and the Javelin Throw. For example, if you're doing the Pole Vault, you must press the right circles at the right time as fast as you can, then after you must hold down both circles then release at the end. Depending on how fast you clicked the circles and how your timing was, thats how high you will jump. This is the same idea for the other games as well. Theres the easy mode and the pro mode. Pro mode is alot more challanging but with a little practice it can be done. For the price that this game is going for, its an amazing app and the app itself is reaaaally addicting and fun. The presentation of the game is amazing as well and it has a long lasting appeal. Only negative of this app is that there are not many events, maybe we will see more in the future.

Ill start off by clearly stating that this app is perfect. And i will try to explain why.
I think that this app is exactly what people who constantly use messengers such as MSN, Yahoo, AIM, etc. this is what they have been looking for. I myself am a person who uses MSN and is on MSN basicly 24/7 except from when i sleep, so once i tried this app out i was stunned. This app has some amazing features. One is that you can keep multiple accounts on, you dont have to go from one account, sign out, then to the other. Another great feature is that this app supports voice and image sending. You can just take a screenshot pic or send any pic from your phone to the contact, or the better feature, record a message and send it to a contact, I was amazed by that. This app supports display pictures too, its not something big but it just makes the app better. This app is just so easy to use, thats the best part and it always works. It certantly is the best out of any other messenger app in the iTunes app store. The only bad part is that it is kind of overpriced. $15.99... That is kind of too much for juts a messenger app, but still this app is so perfect that I give it a 5/5 because I am not rating the price, I am rating the app itself. Everything about this app is great, and if you dont mind spending that money on it i suggest you deffinetly buy it because its the perfect messenger app and has many great settings too. Basically this app is just perffect for what it does. Thumbs up to the developers.

Flight Control App Review

Flight Control... Hmmm... I thought about what to give this game for a while.
My decision was that in the end, my rating for this game is going to be a 3/5.
Why? Because. Simple. This game just doesnt cut it. Yes i know that its been on the app store as the top paid app for a while and now its in the top 10 or so (at the moment im writing this)
but this game just isnt all "that". Yeah, i guess you can say its fun for a while but its not one of those games where you play for a while. Once in a while when youre bored you pick it up and play until you crash a plane into another, than you really dont feel like playing again for a while.
The objective of this game is to make routes for airplanes and helicopters to land safely into the designated zone, without colliding into other planes. Its a pretty fun game the first time you play it. Then once you end the game, then next time youll be wanting to play again will not be anytime soon. Too repetative. Overall this game is okay and i guess you can say well worth the price. If you want a game to just pick up and play quickly for a few mins, this game will do.

iShoot App Review

Alright, so ill state it right now, this app gets a 4/5 from me.
Its a pretty good game, its fun, and just one of those games that take away the boringness when your bored. It has great features. Basicly youre a tank, and while taking turns must take out other tanks using selected weponery. The great part about this game is that the "land" is destroyed by the weapons. If you just shot a nuke into the air and it landed onto the ground, a huge chunk of the land will be wiped out. That's a great feature. The other best part is that you can play with a friend, or up to three friends. Computers can be faced too if you like. You can also edit your weapons, like for example, make a Mortar with the power of a Shiva Bomb. Now thats great. You can also edit the rules to your likings if youd like. This game gets a great 4/5 because its just one of those games you play when your bored, or riding in the backseat of a car.
Its not fun when you continously play it though.

Assassin's Creed Review

Alright so, as my first review i am going to review the Assassin's Creed game for the iPhone/iPod Touch.
This game is just basicly amazing. It get a perfect 5/5 (and trust me... i dont usually give these 5/5's out too easily). It's just perfect. The reason being is because most other developers that are making apps or games for the iPhone are basicly not using the full potential of the iphone/ipod. Before Gameloft started making games, everyone saw the iPhone/iPod Touch as a gadget with graphics such as maybe a gameboy advance or so. Now we can clearly see that that is not the case. This game is just amazing. The graphics, considering its for iphone are really good. The presentation is really good also. The controls are okay i guess, but thats not the games fault, its only because the device has no buttons. The only bad part about this game is the voices. They are terrible. But then again, most people usually skip them anyways so that doesnt really affect the game.
In conclusion, this game is just perfect for me.
